Self Portrait
In this project, I believe is the project I had more trouble with. Our teacher took our pictures and then printed them in black and white. This project was all about shading.
Our instructions indicated that every part of our face was supposed to be shaded, nothing was totally white. Even our teethe were a bit shaded some how, because non of us had perfectly white teeth. I was very sacred to start this project, but believe or not I did a much better job than what anyone expected.
It took me a long time to finish this self portrait. I did is as careful as I good and asked my teacher many questions. Like which parts of the drawing were fine and on which ones was I suppose to work harder.
In the drawing, I think i could've done a much better job in the hair and in the eye. They are not as proportioned as I expected they would be. The hair seemed as the easier part but as you con observe, it turned out to be one of the hardest part.
I have never been good with my art's skills but this year I am certain I have improved a lot. In the past years I was even afraid to pick up a pencil. I am thankful that my teacher encouraged me to keep on trying and the way she supported me was amazing.

Collage This is the collage I did for my sketch book. Even though it is not done with a pencil and I drew it I think it gives a big message to everyone if you look hard. When I stared to cut the pictures out I was going to do it randomly, but then I figured out something that means a lot to me. I compared the famous people with the normal people. They had the same expressions. Their factions were just the same, with or with out make up.
I stared to look even harder, and the more I observed the more alike they all look to me. So I took all the different expressions from people I could find and pasted them.
For me this is I huge part of my art year class because it taught me how to observe. When these pictures forced me to really look ay things it helped me with my art. Looking at the different details of different art of works helped me with mine. I was certainly able to add those details much better. I am glad I took the time to do this collage.

My First Sketch
I really don't have a name for this sketch. I think I should not give it a name, and let each individual give it it's own name.
In this drawing I did a bunch of lines but I do not did them just because. Each line has a meaning, all the bright and beautiful color lines represent happy times. All the wonderful time we have shared with friends and family are many. The black line in the middle are all the bad times, these are more thick because the seem more overwhelming than happy times.
The brown lines drawn on the sides are the times we denominate as "okay." These times we don't really take them as important times. But they might be the times that make us realize very important things that will help us through very significant times. As a one line summary, this is how the emotional part of our life's look like.
